Smith Villazor LLP represents Sylebra Capital in Delaware action against investor Ronald O. Perelman, Scientific Games Corp. and its Board of Directors

As reported in the Wall Street Journal and Law 360, on October 24, 2019, our hedge fund client Sylebra Capital filed breach of fiduciary duty and other claims against Ronald O. Perelman, Scientific Games, its Board of Directors and subsidiary Bally Gaming.  As alleged, the claims relate to the defendants’ years-long campaign to harm Sylebra’s investment and entrench Perelman’s control over Scientific Games.  A copy of the complaint may be found here.   Patrick Smith, Andrew Rodgers and Nick Karasimas are handling the case for Sylebra.
