As reported in the Wall Street Journal and Law 360, on October 24, 2019, our hedge fund client Sylebra Capital filed breach of fiduciary duty and other claims against Ronald O. Perelman, Scientific Games, its Board of Directors and subsidiary Bally Gaming. As alleged, the claims relate to the defendants’ years-long campaign to harm Sylebra’s investment and entrench Perelman’s control over Scientific Games. A copy of the complaint may be found here.
